Creative Writing After-School Enrichment – ASP

LIFT2Enrich is an award-winning
creative writing program

Our vision is for more students to acquire the writing skills needed for future educational and career success, regardless of their socio-economic background.

LIFT2Enrich, Inc. (L2E) is a 501c3 organization offering a diverse array of writing and mentoring-based programs that prepare students for the real world. It’s never too early to become a great writer. From emotional wellness to polished grammar, the benefits of writing are numerous:

Students will expand their creativity and imagination while strengthening their writing skills in this engaging club.

Our Programs

Movie Talk and Toppings

Students study film production with lessons on scriptwriting, camera shots, and various other jobs of a film crew. In addition, students learn how to craft a movie critique using proper opinion writing essay structure. This exciting opportunity promotes writing literacy as well as introduces students to a career in film and journalism.

Toys, Targets, and Taglines

Students learn how creative writing is used in advertising. Students become entrepreneurs by creating their company logo, designing advertising flyers, writing scripts, and filming commercials using a high-tech green screen.

Young Writers Society

Students study creative writing from concept to publication. They are given tools to write and publish their own short story. This program includes lessons to strengthen ELA and essay writing.

Elevate Spoken Word

Students learn how to write and perform spoken word poetry. They will use the power of words to express themselves creatively and then learn performance techniques in presenting their piece.

In the Biz

Students harness their gifts and turn them into actual businesses. Students will identify their talents and interest, then determine how to monetize these gifts. They will create a business name, mission statement, logo, and flyer.

Imagination Writing Station

Confidence in writing and a lifelong love for literacy start here! Younger students will hone their writing skills through engaging projects, interactive literacy games, cursive writing, and fun writing assignments that are proven to build strong writers.
